Previously, Rachel was SVP at Univision where she created and led the event marketing business unit at Univision. Orchestrating 175+ annual events from end to end allocating $10M operating budget, and aligning experiential programs with a go- to-market focus to surpass targeted growth objectives.
Her ability to deliver results coupled with her infectious positivity earned a coveted seat on Univision’s executive council where she along with only 40 other top leaders made many of the decisions that set the strategy and vision for the enterprise. Rachel has been recognized industry-wide for outstanding contributions to brand promotions and is one of BizBash’s 2018 and 2021 Most Influential Event Professionals.
Prior to Univision, Rachel was the VP of events and employee engagement at AOL. During her tenure, she launched AOL’s NYSE listing day across multiple touch-points and assembled leadership sessions, client meetings, and entertainment for Advertising Week to induct AOL’s “Running Man” into its Hall of Fame.
Earlier in her career, while serving as a senior manager at L’Oréal USA, she was the architect of a strategic event partnership with Vogue that spurred a dramatic sales lift for the beauty brand surpassing original targets by 11%.
Throughout her career, Rachel has been accountable for P&L, KPI analysis, multimillion-dollar budget allocation, strategic partnership retention, celebrity management, and creative execution of global and domestic events with 100–75K+ attendees.
